Announcement: Cal Snow has stepped down from the Town Council

I am very sorry to report that Cal Snow has stepped down from the Town Council. Cal's energy and enthusiasm in all aspects of his service to his community was always evident and he was always willing to step up to help in any way. We will miss having Cal's perspective and wisdom on all matters big and small, and we will just miss Cal.

The Town Board is accepting applications from individuals wishing to fill this seat for the 2024 calendar year (the position will be voted on in the fall 2024 general election for the remaining year of Cal's term, Jan 1, 2025 through Dec 31, 2025). Interested parties should send their application letter to the Town Clerk explaining why they are interested in serving on the Town Council, relevant experience, which areas of Caroline town government they are especially interested in, and their priorities (cl...@townofcaroline.org; Town Clerk, Town of Caroline, P.O. Box 136, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881). The Town Board plans to begin interviews of applicants at the July 10th Agenda Meeting (we are shifting the July Agenda Meeting from the 3rd to the 10th because of the July 4th holiday).  -Mark Witmer June 14 2024
