Farm Festival at the Brooktondale Community Center - Sunday, August 11th, from noon to 4 pm

The Town of Caroline Agriculture Committee invites the public to join us on
Sunday, August 11th, from noon to 4 pm
for a Farm Festival at the Brooktondale Community Center
526 Valley Rd in Brooktondale
(Note that 12-2 is the best time to come to meet and buy from farmers; from 2-4 pm the festivities continue with swing dancing!)

Come meet farmers and neighbors engaged in Ag activities and learn about the freshly completed Town of Caroline Ag and Farmland Protection Plan!

Bring the family and enjoy:
Best BBQ around from Juicy's Shanty Food Truck 
Free Purity ice cream (plus fresh blueberries and peaches to go on it
Free raffle of farm products and experiences
Live music from Ovenbird 
Local vendors, exhibits, and more! Meet local farmers of all sizes and see what they are producing, and buy products to enjoy at home! 

We expect to be joined by several elected officials, including State Assembly person Anna Kelles and State Senator Lea Webb, for a press event at 1:30 pm.

The Farm Festival will close with live swing dance music from the Diana Leigh Quartet from 2 to 4 pm. (Note: the farm vendors have been told they can leave at 2 pm, if they wish, so if you want to be sure to connect with them, come between noon and 1:30.)
